Arboricultural and GIS Services
H&H Bowe have recently appointed Richard Hunter as Arboricultural and GIS Technician. Richard, son of a Lancashire beef farmer, gained his National Diploma and Foundation Degree at Myerscough Agricultural College, Preston.
Aboricultural work is primarily based on tree and woodland inspections ensuring that the property does not pose a risk to others, in the planning and development stages of new buildings where trees and the management of the woodland will be affected.
GIS Mapping is the collection and recording of data and the transfer of it onto paper maps for general use. This may be boundary lines for grazing agreements, land valuations or the position of springs and wells for Nitrate Vulnerable Zone plans. The accuracy of the hand held GIS/GPS technology allows the data to be within less than one metre accurate.
For more information, please browse our sub sections - alternatively, if you have a specific requirement which you would like to discuss with Richard direct, please contact him in the office on 01228 40 62 60 or email your enquiry.
